TOYOTA, Japan, Dec. 8, 2015 – Led by 2012 Olympian Jonathan Horton of Houston/Team Hilton (Cypress Gymnastics), a trio of men will represent the United States at this weekend’s Toyota International Gymnastics Competition in Toyota City, Japan. Joining Horton are 2015 Pan Am pommel horse champion Marvin Kimble of Milwaukee/Team Hilton (U.S. Olympic Training Center), and Eddie Penev of Penfield, N.Y./Team Hilton (U.S. Olympic Training Center).

The competition features individual apparatus finals with men’s floor exercise, pommel horse and still rings scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 12, and vault, parallel bars and horizontal bar on Sunday, Dec. 13. Horton has registered to compete in four events (floor, rings, parallel bars and high bar), while Kimble (pommel horse, still rings and high bar) and Penev (floor, pommel horse and vault) will each compete in three apparatus.

Tom Meadows and Vitaly Marinitch are the coaches for the team. Mike Juszczyk, judge, completes the U.S. delegation for the event.
