LONDON, Aug. 3, 2012 – On Aug. 3-4, the North Greenwich Arena continues to host gymnastics but switches to trampoline. Today, the world’s best male trampoline gymnasts take to the floor for both preliminary and final competition at 9 a.m. ET The USA’s Steven Gluckstein of Atlantic Highlands, N.J., will square off against 16 men, with Savannah Vinsant of Lafayette, La., taking on the women’s field on Aug. 4.
Both Gluckstein, who trains at Elite Trampoline Academy, and Vinsant, who trains at Trampoline and Tumbling Express, are competing in their first Olympic Games. This is the second consecutive Games that the USA has qualified both a man and a woman in trampoline.
