HUNTSVILLE, Texas, July 5, 2014 – Macy Toronjo of Huntsville, Texas/Texas Dreams, and Jazmyn Foberg of Bayville, N.J./MG Elite, won the senior and junior all-around titles, respectively, at the American Classic at the USA Gymnastics National Training Center at the Karolyi Ranch, a U.S. Olympic Training Site, earlier today.

Toronjo won the senior all-around with her 54.200. Felicia Hano of San Gabriel, Calif./Gym Max, was second at 53.200, and Melissa Reinstadtler of Brick, N.J./Rebound Gymnastics, rounded out the top three at 52.650. Toronjo posted the highest scores for uneven bars (13.350) and balance beam (14.200). Hano was first on vault (14.850) and the floor exercise (13.550).


In the junior competition, Foberg scored a 55.550 total to edge out Maggie Musselman of Crownsville, Md./Hills Gymnastics, who was second at 55.500. Deanne Soza of Orem, Utah/Arete Gymnastics, was third at 55.100. Foberg had the top scores for both vault (14.600) and uneven bars (14.050). The best balance beam score was posted by Gabby Perea of Geneva, Ill./Legacy Elite, (15.100). Megan Freed of Bethlehem, Pa./Parkettes, had the highest floor exercise score at 14.100.
