INDIANAPOLIS, IND.-Sean Townsend (Houston, Texas), the reigning parallel bars world champion and U.S. national champion, along with 2000 and 1996 Olympian Blaine Wilson (Columbus, Ohio) and members of the 2001 World Championships silver medal team including Paul Hamm (Waukesha, Wis.), Brett McClure (Mill Creek, Wash.) and Guard Young (Oklahoma City, Okla.), headline the competition at the 2002 Men’s National Qualifier, June 29 at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

“The Men’s National Qualifier brings world-class gymnasts and up-and-coming stars of the USA Gymnastics men’s program to Colorado Springs,” said Ron Galimore, Senior Director of the Men’s Program for USA Gymnastics. “These are the athletes who can be expected to represent the U.S. at the 2002 Individual World Gymnastics Championships and the 2003 World Gymnastics Championships.”
