As the members of the U.S. National Team prepare for the fall’s international assignments, I wanted to congratulate the athletes who competed within trampoline & tumbling’s elite level and their coaches for a great season this year, and send best wishes for the upcoming competitive season.

I enjoyed watching the competition at the Wells Fargo Arena and meeting so many of the athletes, parents, club owners, coaches and judges in Des Moines, Iowa. I also had the opportunity to see our gymnasts compete in Lima at the Pan American Games. The joy and excitement of the athletes and their coaches when an athlete nailed a skill and/or routine as well as the gymnasts talking about meeting athletes from other sports and from other parts of the world are among my favorite memories.

We want to thank all of our members for everything you do for our athletes. We also want to express our appreciation to the meet directors, coaches, club owners, judges, administrators, volunteers and parents who work on events and other initiatives throughout the year, as well as to the coaches, club owners and parents who spent hours training and coaching athletes, running the club, and shuttling children. We appreciate your commitment to doing what it takes, and we recognize that we wouldn’t be able to do this without your support.

Thank you for everything you all do on behalf of our athletes. Your dedication and passion are evident, and all of you are the reason gymnastics is the incredible sport it is.

Please cheer on our athletes who are representing the United States in World Cups and other international meets this fall as well as the World Championships in November, and I am looking forward to the 2019-20 season!
