INDIANAPOLIS, Feb. 19, 2018 – Texas Woman’s University will play host to the 2018 USA Gymnastics Women’s Collegiate Championships April 13-15 at Kitty Magee Arena in Denton, Texas. The three-day event will feature eight varsity teams. Competition begins Friday at 2 p.m. CT with two sessions of team semifinals. Team finals will start at 7 p.m. CT on Saturday, followed by the individual event finals on Sunday at 1 p.m. CT.

Texas Woman’s University captured the team title at the 2017 USA Gymnastics Women’s Collegiate National Championships in Seattle, Wash. The win was the program’s 10th USA Gymnastics Women’s Collegiate National Championships title and their first since 2008. The University of Bridgeport and Lindenwood University finished second and third, respectively.

The USA Gymnastics Collegiate Championships is for Division I, II and III schools with less than seven-and-a-half full scholarships.
