HUNTSVILLE, Texas, Oct. 28, 2014 – Ragan Smith of Dacula, Ga./Texas Dreams, has been added to the U.S. Women’s Junior National Team by the International Elite Committee, following the recent women’s national team training camp.
Smith, who is coached by Kim Zmeskal-Burdette and Chris Burdette, finished second on the balance beam and floor exercise at the 2014 P&G Gymnastics Championships earlier this year in Pittsburgh, Pa. She also recorded a seventh place finish in the all-around. At the Secret U.S. Classic in early August, Smith won the floor exercise title.
