2009 World all-around champion Bridget Sloan of Pittsboro, Ind., recently traveled to Cleveland, Ohio, to promote the NCAA Women’s Gymnastics Championship, scheduled for April 15-17 at the Wolstein Center. Sloan, who also was a member of the U.S. Olympic squad that won the 2008 Olympic team silver medal, visited both Gym World in Broadview Heights and the Ohio USA Gymnastics Levels 4 and 5 State Championships at Lost Nation Sports Park. She talked with gymnasts about her gymnastics career and the upcoming championships, signed autographs and posed for photos.
