INDIANAPOLIS, Sept. 1, 2015 – 2015 U.S. junior 15-16 all-around silver medalist Shane Wiskus of Spring Park, Minn./Mini-Hops Gymnastics, and bronze medalists Tanner Justus of Cypress, Texas, and Matt Wenske of Houston, both with Cypress Academy of Gymnastics, headline the six-man U.S. Junior Team that will compete in the 2015 Olympic Hopes Cup, Nov. 7, in Liberec, Czech Republic.

The complete U.S. squad includes the following gymnasts.

    Addison Chung, Medfield, Mass./New England Sports Academy
    Bennet Huang, Palo Alto, Calif./West Coast Olympic Gymnastics Academy
    Tanner Justus, Cypress, Texas/Cypress Academy of Gymnastics
    Alexei Vernyi, Cypress, Texas/Cypress Academy of Gymnastics
    Matt Wenske, Houston/Cypress Academy of Gymnastics
    Shane Wiskus, Spring Park, Minn./Mini-Hops Gymnastics
    Replacement athlete: Jacob Moore, West Bloomfield, Mich./Twistars USA

Held at the Sport Park Liberec Gymnastics Hall, the competition will award both team and individual event medals. The men’s competition begins at 10 a.m. To be eligible to compete, the male athletes were born 1998-2001.

Tom Meadows with Cypress is the head coach, and Doug Price of Mini-Hops and Vince Miller of West Coast Olympic Gymnastics Academy are the assistant coaches.
