INDIANAPOLIS, May 4, 2022 – Single-day tickets and all-session tickets are now on sale for the U.S. Classic, July 28-31 at Maverik Center in the Salt Lake Valley.

USA Gymnastics’ 2022 U.S. Classic will bring together the country’s top elite gymnasts or four days of world-class competition. Held since 1983 as a showcase for the senior and junior women’s ranks, the U.S. Classic for the first time will feature men’s competition and will serve as the final qualifying opportunity for the 2022 U.S. Gymnastics Championships, to be held August 18-21 in Tampa, Fla. The U.S. Classic also is held in conjunction with the 2022 Hopes Championships, a national-level event for female gymnasts in the 11-12 and 13-14 year-old age groups.

Single-day tickets are good for admission to any sessions held on that day of competition. As athlete entries rise, a second women’s session has been added for Saturday, July 30. The preliminary competition schedule is outlined below and is subject to change.

  • Thursday, July 28 – 6:40-9:30 p.m. – Hopes Championships
  • Friday, July 29 – 6:30-9:00 p.m. – U.S. Classic – Junior Women
  • Saturday, July 30 – 12:30-2:30 p.m. – U.S. Classic – Women’s Session 1
  • Saturday, July 30 – 5:00-7:00 p.m. – U.S. Classic – Women’s Session 2
  • Sunday, July 31 – 1:00-3:00 p.m. – U.S. Classic – Junior Men & Senior Men
  • Sunday, July 31 – 6:30-9:00 p.m. – U.S. Classic – Senior Men

Past winners of the women’s senior, junior and hopes all-around competition at U.S. Classic are an illustrious list of U.S. Olympic gold medalists, including Simone Biles, Aly Raisman, Kyla Ross, Nastia Liukin, Jaycie Phelps, Dominique Dawes, Laurie Hernandez, Jordyn Wieber, Shawn Johnson, Carly Patterson, Amanda Borden, and Gabby Douglas. The 2022 edition of the U.S. Classic will add its first men’s champions.

The U.S. Classic will air live on CNBC from 7-9 p.m. ET on Saturday, July 30 and from 3-5 p.m. ET on Sunday, July 31. NBC will air a highlight show of the senior women’s and men’s competitions from 4-5 p.m. ET on Saturday, August 6. FlipNow.tv will livestream all competition outside of CNBC live broadcast windows and will upload all individual routines at the conclusion of each day.
