Sergio Galvez, with Capital Gymnastics National Training Center in Burke, Va., has been named the National Tumbling Team Head Coach and Austin White, with World Elite Gymnastics in Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif., has been named the National Double Mini Team Head Coach. These positions are responsible for the creation of training and competition plans for their respective team programs. These individuals, communicating with National Team athletes and their coaches, will set training goals and expectation for various camps. These individuals will also work with the Program Director and High Performance Coordinator in developing the following:

  • Annual and quadrennial goals for the program
  • Training camp schedules, goals, staffing and objectives
  • Communication to National Team athletes and coaches that include maintaining bi-weekly updates to ensure progress is being made
  • Reports to Program Director

It is my mission to maintain our proven foundation and pursue the excellence that our double mini program has grown accustomed to.”
