CHENGDU, China (August 12, 2025) – Shea Rudolph (Boston, Mass.) made history in Chengdu, winning bronze to become the first U.S. parkour athlete to medal at The World Games since the discipline’s introduction to the event in 2022.
Rudolph scored a 26.700 to win freestyle bronze in men’s competition. He ranked third behind first-place Mutsuhiro Shiohata of Japan (28.800) and Eloan Hitz of France in second (27.100). Prior to Rudolph’s medal, the country’s best finish in parkour was fifth place in both the freestyle and speed divisions.
Audrey Johnson (Greenville, S.C.) also was in action Tuesday, narrowly missing the women’s speed podium with a time of 40.33 seconds to land fourth. Sweden’s Miranda Tibbling was first (36.62), Noa Man of the Netherlands was second (37.67) and Argentina’s Sara Tzancoff Banchoff placed third (39.52).
The 2025 edition of The World Games conclude Wednesday, August 13 with parkour competition in women’s freestyle and men’s speed starting at 1 a.m. ET. The Games will stream live at live.theworldgames.org and all results are available on the competition website and FIG event page.
