LOUISVILLE, Kentucky (February 21, 2026) – Frederick Richard (Stoughton, Mass./University of Michigan) claimed the senior men’s all-around title as the 2026 Senior Men’s National Team Presented by Xfinity was reordered Saturday at the 2026 Winter Cup in downtown Louisville.
Just days after returning to the United States from a visit to the Winter Olympic Games, Richard took the all-around crown with a total score of 84.359. Richard also secured the floor exercise title with a 14.355 and won bronze medals on pommel horse (13.952), horizontal bar (13.850) and still rings (13.800). In his first national appearance since the 2024 Olympic Team Trials, Yul Moldauer (Arvada, Colo./5280 Gymnastics) took all-around silver at Winter Cup with a 79.710. The veteran paired his all-around honor with a gold medal on parallel bars (14.955) and a silver on rings (14.055).
Completing the all-around podium was David Shamah (McKinney, Texas/Stanford University), who won bronze with an overall 79.608 and also earned silver on parallel bars (14.808).
In apparatus competition, Parker Thackston (Surf City, N.J./Ohio State University) was best on pommel horse with a 15.325 while Danila Leykin (Sarasota, Fla./EVO Gymnastics) led on high bar with a 14.658. Garrett Schooley (Sarasota, Fla./University of Illinois) took the title on vault with a 14.135 (14.135; 13.700) and Christopher Hiser (Longmeadow, Mass./University of Nebraska) did the same on rings with a 14.352.
An initial 12-man roster for the 2026 Senior Men’s National Team Presented by Xfinity was announced following competition on Saturday, with additional National Team members and international competition assignments forthcoming. Team members are listed alphabetically below.
