Three rhythmic national team members, junior Cindy Lu and seniors Anastasia Torba and Olga Pavlenko traveled to Amsterdam for the Amsterdam Masters Tournament, June 25-26, and won three medals.

Lu, who resides in Staten Island, N.Y./Isadora Rhythmics, won the all-around title with a score of 92.157. Lu also has the highest score in three of the four events, hoop (24.600), ball (23.050), and clubs (22.699) and the third highest score for her ribbon routine (21.808).

Anastasia Torba from Orinda, Calif./Allegro Rhythmic, finished third in the all-around with a score of 97.899. Russia’s Elena Romanchenko and Olga Romanchenko finished first and second in the all-around with scores of 107.841 and 107.099, respectively.

Olga Pavlenko from Brooklyn, N.Y./Isadora Rhythmics finished fourth in the all-around with a score of 97.816 and won the bronze medal for her ball routine, scoring a 24.991.

Other U.S. gymnast finished on top in the rankings.: Krstina Shaldybn from Allston, Mass./Isadora Rhythmics, took second in the junior all-around competition with a score of 87.583 and had the highest ribbon score with a 22.300 and the second highest hoop score with a 23.275.

Laura Tutunikov from Northbrook, Ill./North Shore Rhythmics, took sixth in the junior all-around (85.607) and also had the third highest score for her ball (22.400) and clubs (21.041) routines.
