USA Gymnastics welcomed members of the rhythmic community this week in Indianapolis. A National Judges’ Course was given by Rhythmic Program Director/FIG Rhythmic Technical Committee member Caroline Hunt. Various professional members attended for professional development: new national judge candidates, National Team coaches, certified committee members and auditors. The Regional Administrative Committee is in town for its annual meeting and includes 3 newly-elected members this Fall.
The current RAC members: Zone 1: Sofia Minevich (Administrative Rep), Jayme Vincent (Technical Rep); Zone 2: Perryne Thompson (Administrative Rep), Jaga Atanaskovic (Technical Rep); Zone 3: Suzi DiTullio (Administrative Rep-Chair), Ellen Nyemsick (Technical); National Judges’ Rep: Stefanie Korepin. The committee met with various departments at USA Gymnastics to discuss sanctioning, education, branding, finance, as well as moving through a full agenda rooted in the responsibilities for the RAC outlined in the Rhythmic Operating Code.
