SOFIA, Bulgaria – Nine American gymnasts will compete at the 2025 Rhythmic Junior World Championships June 18-22 in Sofia, Bulgaria.

After Rin Keys won the first rhythmic World Championships medal for the U.S. at Junior Worlds in 2023, the nine-athlete delegation of Natalia de la Rosa, Anna Filipp, Alicia Liu and the Junior National Group of Alana Hirota, Nina Keys, Ziah Khan, Leyla Kukhmazova, Sasha Kuliyev and Katherine Roytman looks to add to that history in 2025.

Just this season, the reigning U.S. junior all-around champion De la Rosa has won 14 medals in international competition since March. She will be joined in individual competition by two-time Pan American Championship medalists Filipp and Liu. The Junior National Group will compete in Bulgaria after winning four medals internationally this year.

The compete schedule for the 2025 Junior World Championships is listed below. Live scoring for the competition in Sofia will be available on the FIG event website.

  • Wednesday, June 18 – Individual hoop and ball qualifications at 3 a.m. ET
  • Thursday, June 19 – Individual clubs and ribbon qualifications at 3 a.m. ET
  • Saturday, June 21 – Group all-around final at 4 a.m. ET – *Team champion crowned
  • Sunday, June 22 – Apparatus Finals at 6 a.m. ET

Rules/Qualifications
Team, apparatus and group all-around titles will be contested at the 2025 Junior World Championships in Sofia. Team standings will be determined through individual and group qualification scores.
