Each year in order to help our young athletes understand that there is more to life than gymnastics, Region 8 sponsors a charity. This year’s charity was The Pat Summitt Foundation and the fight against Alzheimer’s. The Level 7 and 8 Regional Championships event donated $1,000.00 to the Pat Summitt Foundation and hopefully some knowledge about Alzheimer’s was shared with the athletes and their families.
