Alexandra Raisman of Needham, Mass./Brestyan’s American Gymnastics, who won two medals at the 2011 World Championships including a team gold and floor exercise bronze medal, was in New York City over the weekend visiting gymnastics clubs and promoting the 2012 AT&T American Cup.

Raisman visited NYC Elite in New York City, N.Y., AEON Gymnastics in Hillsdale, N.J., Paragon Gymnastics in Norwood, N.J., MGA in East Massapequa, N.Y., and Mid Island Gymnastics in Hicksville, N.Y.

The 2012 AT&T American Cup, the most prestigious international invitational held in the United States, will take place in Madison Square Garden in New York City, N.Y. March 3 at 11:30 a.m. The AT&T American Cup will kick-off the Olympic year for USA Gymnastics showcasing the top gymnasts from the United States and around the world. Tickets for the one-day international event are on sale now through Ticketmaster and the Madison Square Garden Box Office. The AT&T American Cup has been staged 11 times at Madison Square Garden and this is the sixth time New York has hosted the event in an Olympic year.
