BOSTON, June 15, 2015 – 2012 Olympic gold-medalist Aly Raisman of Needham, Mass./Brestyan’s American Gymnastics, was one of the new Board members elected by the Board of Directors of the Boston 2024 Partnership.

We are fortunate that these impressive individuals are banding together to share their expertise as we build a bid that provides long-term benefits for our region and strong legacies for the Olympic and Paralympic movement.”
Chaired by Steve Pagliuca, managing director at Bain Capital, co-owner and managing partner of the Boston Celtics, the Boston 2024 Board of Directors provides governance oversight on key policy issues leading up to and including the final bid for Boston’s pursuit of the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Scheduled to meet as a full Board twice a year, members also lend their expertise more frequently as participants on Board committees including audit, executive and governance/nominating committees. Membership on these committees is expected to be finalized over the next several weeks.
