USA Gymnastics is committed to and values the importance of protecting personal privacy. This privacy policy discloses how USA Gymnastics (collectively, “USA Gymnastics,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, and shares the information of individuals who visit the USA Gymnastics website at usagym.org, the MyUSAGym mobile application, and any other websites, mobile applications, and other interactive content that link to this policy (collectively, the “Platform”).

When using our Platform, you may provide information about yourself when you interact with us. USA Gymnastics collects information from our users at several points throughout our Platform, including:

Profile or Membership Registration
You may create a profile on the Platform by registering as a user and/or as a USA Gymnastics member. During either registration process, you may provide information such as:
• Your contact information [e.g., name, email address, mailing address, telephone number];
• Username and password;
• Demographic information [e.g., age, gender, citizenship];
• Communication preferences;
• Correspondence and other information you send us; and
• Additional information described at the point of collection.

Event Registration
You may provide contact information such as name, address, phone number, and e-mail address, as well as information about gymnastics abilities when you choose to register for an event.

Surveys
You may provide information regarding past events, congresses, member club inquiries, and/or other general gymnastics information when you choose to participate in a survey.

Purchases and Donations
When you place an order with us or donate to the Foundation, you may provide contact information, such as name and billing address, and financial information, such as credit card number expiration date, and other payment information.

We (and other entities) also automatically collect information relating to your interactions with us and our Platform, including browser type, IP address, pages visited and other activities on the Platform, device type, time and date of visit, and other information we collect through the use of cookies and similar technology. We may use your information for any lawful purpose, including the following:

• To fulfill your orders;
• To respond to your inquiries, including questions about registration or order status;
• To operate and improve the Platform and other products and services, including for analytics purposes;
• To register you for events and educational courses, prepare entry lists, and conduct events;
• To allow you to manage your account;
• To send updates, promotions, marketing materials, and newsletters regarding USA Gymnastics information, member clubs, upcoming events, educational opportunities, and other materials that may be of interest to you;
• To comply with the law and to maintain the security of our Platform; or
• With your consent, or as otherwise disclosed at the time information is collected.

We may share the information we collect with other parties, including the following:

• With third-party service providers who process information on our behalf, such as payment processors, data hosting services, shipping providers, and email service providers;
• With scoring and meet management companies to facilitate sanctioned events;
• With the USA Gymnastics Foundation, Inc., and our affiliates and any joint venture partners that we may have in the future;
• As part of an actual or potential sale, merger, or acquisition, or other transfer of all or part of our assets, including as part of a bankruptcy proceeding;
• Pursuant to a subpoena, court order, governmental inquiry, or other legal process or as otherwise required by law, to protect our rights or the rights of third parties, or to protect the safety or security of any person or entity; or
• With your consent or as otherwise disclosed at the time of information collection or sharing.

We may share information that has been deidentified (including aggregated information) without limitation.

We may work with third parties that collect data about your use of the Platform and other sites or apps over time for non-advertising purposes. For instance, USA Gymnastics uses Google Analytics and other third-party services to improve the performance of the Platform and for analytics and marketing purposes. Additionally, your browser may offer tools to limit the use of cookies or to delete cookies; however, if you use these tools, our Platform may not function as intended.

The Platform may provide links to third-party websites or apps. We do not control the privacy practices of those websites or apps, and they are not covered by this privacy policy. We encourage our users to carefully review the privacy policies of any other website or apps that you use to learn about their data practices.

The Platform also includes integrated tool or “plug-ins,” such as social networking or payment tools offered by third parties. If you use these tools to share personal information or your otherwise interact with these features on the Platform, those companies may collect information about you and may use and share such information in accordance with your account settings, including by sharing such information with the general public.

Your interactions with third-party companies and your use of their features are governed by the privacy policies of the companies that provide those features. We encourage you to carefully read the privacy policies of any accounts you create and use.

You may review or change information we have about you by logging into your profile on the Platform.

You may also opt out of our email marketing by using the link provided at the bottom of each marketing message. We will continue to send you messages related to your membership with USA Gymnastics, such as order or event registration confirmations.
