SHREVEPORT, La. (April 11, 2025) – Morgan Price (Lebanon, Tenn./Fisk University) reclaimed the all-around title to conclude the first day of competition at the 2025 Women’s Collegiate Gymnastics National Invitational Championships in Louisiana.

After becoming the first athlete from an HBCU to take the title in 2024, Price repeated as the all-around champion in 2025 with a score of 39.350. Her all-around score was bolstered by a session-high score on balance beam (9.900), second-highest on uneven bars (9.850), third on floor exercise (9.825) and fourth on vault (9.775). Taylor Ingle (Coppell, Texas/Southeast Missouri State University) claimed all-around silver just behind Price with a 39.225, followed by Abigail Kenney (Brick, N.J./University of Bridgeport) winning bronze with a 38.950.

The top five gymnasts on each apparatus also moved on to Sunday’s individual event finals. Top performers included Price on beam, Kyleigh Ghanbari (Beaumont, Texas/Texas Women’s University) on floor (9.900), Jordan Coleman (Bowie, Md./West Chester University) on bars (9.875) and Trinity Caffey (Suffolk, Va./Texas Women’s University) on vault (9.875).

Team finalists also were determined Friday, with the top two programs from each of two sessions advancing to the final. Southeast Missouri State University (193.725) and the University of Bridgeport (193.325) advanced from the first session, while Texas Women’s University (195.700) and West Chester University (192.850) moved on from the second.
