Philadelphia is preparing to host the 2008 U.S. Olympic Team Trials – Gymnastics and has already held some fun events and activities as a prelude. Former Olympic gold-medalist Shannon Miller, the USA’s most decorated gymnasts, recently signed autographs at an outdoor movie to promote the Trials, spoke at an Olympic Trials volunteer training session and made the morning media circuit to get the city buzzing about the Trials. In addition, 2008 state all-around champions from across Pennsylvania came together at the Philadelphia Art Museum stairs (“Rocky Steps”) in celebration of their accomplishments and the arrival of the 2008 U.S. Olympic Team Trials – Gymnastics, June 19-22 at the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia.
