  1. The Winter Classic gives elite and Level 10 athletes an opportunity to compete in a national event.
  2. The Winter Classic is the first of two required qualifying competitions to National Championships for Jr. & Sr. Elites.
  3. Jr./Sr. Elite athletes may earn points toward the Jr. or Sr. National Team.
HOTELS: There is no host hotel for the Winter Classic. If you would like help finding a hotel in the area, please contact National Travel Systems at 888.603.8747.
ENTRY FEES: All Levels
First event -- $125.00*
Each additional event -- $15.00

Foreign athletes must also obtain a temporary USAG membership. Foreign membership form.

ENTRY DEADLINE: Deadline for entries is February 11, 2009 (Must be in the USAG National Office on or before February 11.)

Late entries are subject to approval by the Senior Program Director and are doubled after February 11. No entries accepted after February 18.

  • Entries will not be processed without payment.
  • No phone entries.
  • No entries the day of the meet.
  • Foreign athletes should use the Foreign Participant Entry Form to register for the Winter Classic.
INCOMPLETE OR INCORRECT ENTRIES: Corrected or additional information may be submitted concerning entries on or before February 18. After February 18, information may be corrected for a charge of $10.00 per correction. Missing information is considered a correction when added. Corrections to entries after February 18 must be entered on the Corrections to Entries form and brought to the competition.
  • Senior Elite and Junior Elite: Rules from the current FIG Code of Points, plus USAG T&T exceptions will be used.
  • Level 10: Rules from the current J.O. Code of Points will be used. Exception: Athletes will be divided by gender, but will compete in one open age group.
ELIGIBLE COMPETITORS: Currently-registered USAG T&T athletes who are Jr./Sr. Elite or Level 10, and international athletes from federations recognized by the FIG.
COACHES & OFFICIALS Coaches, judges and officials who are currently-registered Professional Members will be issued credentials.
  • Coaches must be Level 1 or above and must register on the official Entry Form. Only 2 coaches per team will be issued credentials. No charge for coach's registration.
  • Judges must have a rating as designated by the Technical Committee. See Judge's Request for Assignment.
  • International coaches and judges must be members of a federation recognized by the FIG. Coaches must obtain a USAG foreign membership. Get a foreign membership form.
  • International judges are not required to obtain a USAG foreign membership, but must have an FIG brevet or be nationally rated.
