Eligibility Open to all level 9 athletes who have competed in their State Championships. Note: if a participant’s own State Championship is scheduled for after the Level 9 Classic, participation in an invitational will be accepted.

FIG groups are invited to compete as an invitational.
Competition Format Apparatus
  • Junior/Hopes – Ball, Clubs, Ribbon (3 APPARATUS ONLY)
  • Senior – Hoop, Ball, Clubs, Ribbon
  • FIG Groups – may compete with 2020 or 2021 apparatus
Competition Structure
  • Level 9 Junior/Hopes will compete on both Friday and Saturday. Half of the Junior participants will compete two events Friday, one event Saturday. The other half will compete one event Friday, two events Saturday.
  • Level 9 Seniors will compete 4 events in one day on Sunday.
  • FIG groups will compete both events in one day on Sunday.
  • Regional Team awards will be given here for level 9 Junior and Level 9 Senior separately. The top 6 Junior All Around scores and top 3 Senior All Around scores, pulled from all gymnasts in each region, will count toward the regional team scores. Gymnasts whose scores contributed to the team score will be awarded as the regional team.
Qualification Opportunities
  • Top 40 Juniors and 25 Seniors move on to the Elite Qualifier
  • USA Gymnastics Championships Qualification – TBD
Registration Registration Deadline: January 17, 2020

$160 per gymnast, $200 per group

Registration will be conducted using the Meet Reservation system on the USA Gymnastics website. For instructions, click here.
Music/D Forms Electronic music files will be used for this competition. Upload deadline: January 17, 2020. All music will be downloaded and sorted into rotation order on that date. Please be sure to check the music files after they are uploaded via the online playback button and bring back-up files to the event just in case (on a phone or CD).

Instructions:
  • Have any club administrator from your club log on to the USA Gymnastics website
  • Navigate to the profile page for your gymnast
    • In the sidebar, click “Club Administration”> “Athlete Roster”> then search for the athlete
  • Scroll down on the athlete’s profile page to the section that says “Routine Music”
  • Then click the “upload” button next to each event the athlete will be competing to add the music
Note: Any music already uploaded for your athletes for another event this year will still be in the system and does not need to be uploaded again.

Any music submitted/changed after the deadline is subject to a $25 late fee per athlete. Notification for any requested changes after January 17, 2020 must be sent to jvincent@usagym.org.

Difficulty forms will NOT be used for this competition.

Refunds 50% Refunds for registration fees will be provided in the case of injury or severe illness with a doctor’s note. Notification must be provided to jvincent@usagym.org at least 1 week prior to the event. Refunds without a doctor’s note are not possible.
