Airport or Train Station | Albany, New York PLEASE NOTE: Only those staying onsite at the OTC will be considered for transportation to/from the Albany airport. For those staying onsite at the OTC you must have flight information turned in to USA Gymnastics by April 29th in order to be considered for transportation. At no time is transportation guaranteed but USA Gymnastics and the OTC staff will make best efforts for those staying onsite who have turned in flight information by the above deadline. Please be mindful of the fact that the OTC is several hours’ distance from the Albany Airport and there is a limited number of shuttles per day. It is possible that depending on arrival time there could be several hours wait for the next shuttle. |
Host Hotel | OTC-available to current National Team clubs with pre-approval from USA Gymnastics. Any beds unused by NT clubs will be made available on a first-come basis at the rate of $75/per day.

Membership and Attire | Coaches and athletes must hold a current membership/safety/background check/U100 certification with USA Gymnastics to participate in the 2016 Rhythmic National Qualifier.
All coaches must be in club or athletic apparel with athletic shoes to be on the competition floor. Please remember to dress warmly as it can be chilly in the gym. National team apparel cannot be worn for either the National Qualifier or National Championships. This includes warm-ups, t-shirts, bags, etc…please leave all National Team Apparel/Accessories at home. Level 9 Regional Team Athletes will receive their warm-ups during registration. All coach warm-ups will be available upon registration at the USA Gymnastics Championships in Providence, RI. |
Event Dates | Wednesday, May 11 and Thursday, May 12: Early arrival upon request and pre-approval of USA Gymnastics, first priority to current National Team Friday, May 13 and Saturday, May 14: Level 9/10 JR (2 events each day) Sunday, May 15: Level 9/10 SR (4 events) |
Qualification to USA Gymnastics Championships | Open to all Level 9 and 10 athletes
Qualification to the 2016 USA Gymnastics Championships: Top 25 Juniors/Hopes from the 2016 National Qualifier (top 25 includes those junior athletes per the Rules and Policies from international selection; those gymnast(s) are part of the 25, and the total number of qualified Juniors/Hopes will not exceed 25) Top 20 Seniors from the 2015 National Qualifier (top 20 includes those senior athletes per the Rules and Policies from international selection; those gymnast(s) are part of the 20, and the total number of qualified seniors will not exceed 20) Athletes who qualify and compete in the 2016 USA Gymnastics Championships become Elite Level 10. Athletes who qualify to the National Championships will have a limited amount of time to register for Championships. Registration for Championships will close on May 16th – there will be absolutely no extension to this deadline. 107 Juniors are registered 23 places will qualify to USA Gymnastics Championships (+Karine Denisova and +Shannon Xiao: National Team (2)) Places #24-40 become Level 10 Seniors: 46 Seniors are registered 13 places will qualify to USA Gymnastics Championships (+Laura Zeng, Serena Lu, Nastasya Generalova, Camilla Feeley, Aliya Protto, Brigita Budginas, Nicole Kaloyanov: National Team (7)) Places #14-20 become Level 10 |
Level 10 | Top 20% of Juniors and top 20% of Seniors from the Qualifier after those who advance to the Championships will become Level 10. |
Entry Fee | $150 per gymnast – $25 per coach Click here to register or if you are a Club Administrator you can register through the Group Processing Link on your Membership Page. Registration will close on April 20th There is no admission charge for spectators |
Difficulty Forms | 1 copy of each D form must be submitted on-site by 6:00pm Thursday, May 12th. For participants arriving after this time, D forms must me emailed to Jayme Vincent (jvincent@usagym.org) by midnight, Sunday, May 8th. According to the Rules and Policies, a $20 late fee will be charged per form that is received after these deadlines. |

Additional information | Meals: Please note that meal cards will not be available for purchase at the OTC during the National Qualifier event. Additionally, the OTC does not have vending machines on-site. All participants staying off-site should make alternate plans for meals. Lake Placid is a historic Olympic town with lots to offer families in the spring, including a charming Main Street full of restaurants, shops and beautiful lake views!
