Rhythmic World Championships conclude

MONTPELLIER, France, Sept. 26, 2011 – Team USA completed its competition at the 2011 Rhythmic World Championships in Montpellier, France, on Saturday, Sept. 24. The group from the United States, who all train at North Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics, competed in the all-around competition, finishing 20th. They recorded scores of 24.775 for their five ball routine and a 21.650 in the three ribbon and two hoop routine, giving them a 46.425 total score.

The group, which consisted of Jessica Bogdonov of Brooklyn, N.Y., Megan Frohlich of Arlington, Wash., Aimee Gupta of Orchard Lake, Mich., Michelle Przybylo of Glenview, Ill., Sofya Roytburg of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Sydney Sachs of Deerfield, Ill., will also participate in next month’s Pan American Games in Guadalajara, Mexico.
