The Cal Bears showed their determination and dedication at the 2011 NCAA Gymnastics Championships, where the team finished fourth and Christian Monteclaro won the vault silver medal. Six Cal gymnasts qualified to five event finals, with three also competing in the all-around and finishing in the top 10.
What can you do to help?
Cal Gymnastics Forever has already raised more than $2.3 million in pledges, and the University has asked for $4 million by the end of April.
Those who have already pledged support can extend their pledge to eight years, and if you have been waiting to make a commitment, now's the time. Every pledge is important and can make a difference. Cal Gymnastics Forever is grateful for the overwhelming support already demonstrated, and if you have already pledged your maximum, Cal Gymnastics Forever again extends its thanks.
But if you have not already pledged, or if you can increase and/or extend your pledge, please do so now. This is an opportunity to be a part of the solution, and time is of the essence. Please pledge your support today.
