Gymnastics to be featured on AcaACan Dan Do It?" April 20

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., April 19, 2011 – 1996 Olympic decathlon gold-medalist Dan O'Brien attempts to swing pommel horse in U.S. Olympic Committee’s latest installment of “Can Dan Do It?". The episode, which features Andrew Elkind of Cherry Hill, N.J., a member of the U.S. National Team and Olympic Training Center Residency Program, will be available online at beginning Wednesday, April 20.

When O’Brien won his gold medal in the decathlon at the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games, he earned the title "World's Greatest Athlete." In the USOC web series “Can Dan Do It?," he puts that title to the test as he meets past and current Olympians, Paralympians, and Olympic hopefuls who teach him a bit about their sport, and challenge him to give it a try. “Can Dan Do It?" showcases what it takes to be an Olympic athlete and define the uniqueness and difficult of each Olympic sport.
