The Acrobatic Gymnastics Program remembers and celebrates the life of Kelly Brock.

Kelly came to Aerial Tumbling and Acrobatics in San Jose, CA with a background in artistic gymnastics, joining the tumbling team in the fall of 2001. A few months later she was recruited by ATA's acro coach, Anatoliy Solodar, to join the sports acrobatics team and compete in a Jr. Elite Women's trio with partners Lori Oberst and Alayna Davis.

The trio competed at the 2002 Nationals in New Orleans taking silver in the overall competition. In August of that same year, they attended team trials in Cleveland and were subsequently selected to represent the USA at the World Age Group Games in Riesa, Germany. The trio finished 9th at the 2002 World Age Group Games.

Kelly and her partners began the 2003 season together, competing through State Championships. Directly following this meet she was diagnosed with a rare childhood cancer which forced Kelly to end her competitive career.

Kelly was an upbeat and happy kid, always with a smile on her face and a great sense of humor. Being able to successfully compete as a junior elite athlete her first year was a great accomplishment due to the fact that she was such a disciplined and hard working athlete with a great attitude.

Kelly passed away on Saturday, January 29, 2005.
