All-session ticket packages for rhythmic gymnastics and trampoline and tumbling go on sale Monday, March 8, at 12 p.m. ET for the 2010 Visa Championships, which is scheduled for Aug. 10-14 in the University of Hartford’s Chase Arena at the Reich Family Pavilion. The 2010 Visa Championships, USA Gymnastics’ national championships, features the country’s best gymnasts vying for national titles and spots on the U.S. National Team in four disciplines. Visa Championships tickets for men’s and women’s gymnastics at the XL Center are already on sale.

All-session ticket prices, which include all rhythmic gymnastics and trampoline and tumbling at the Chase Arena, are $49 and may be purchased through Ticketmaster by phone at 800-745-3000; online at www.ticketmaster.com; at all Ticketmaster outlets; at the XL Center Ticket Office; at the University of Hartford Ticket Office; or through participating area gymnastics clubs. Men’s and women’s gymnastics all-session tickets are also available and include tickets for all junior and senior sessions. Visa is the only card accepted for the 2010 Visa Championships.

“We are really looking forward to a great event in Hartford,” said Steve Penny, president of USA Gymnastics. “The 2010 Visa Championships are shaping up to be a fantastic experience for everyone this summer.”

Background on the Visa Championships
In 2010, the Visa Championships visit Connecticut for the first time. The event features four of USA Gymnastics’ competitive disciplines – men’s and women’s gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics and trampoline and tumbling. The Visa Championships determine the U.S. champions and the national team for each discipline for both the junior and senior elite levels. NBC Sports and Universal Sports will broadcast and webcast the action from the men’s and women’s gymnastics competitions.

The USA Gymnastics National Congress and Trade Show is held in conjunction with the Visa Championships and will be conducted at the Connecticut Convention Center. The USA Gymnastics National Congress and Trade Show is the annual gathering of professional members that offers educational and business sessions, a large exhibitor’s hall and other business and educational opportunities.
