2010 Tyson Fitness Challenge

Dear Club Owners:

USA Gymnastics and Tyson Foods proudly present the fifth annual Tyson Fitness Challenge. The 2010 Tyson Fitness Challenge is designed to help kids stay fit using games and simple exercises and to provide your gym another outlet for promoting and encouraging healthy activity. The Tyson Fitness Challenge is the driving force for USA Gymnastics’ national fundraising effort for Children’s Miracle Network. We are thrilled that your gym has chosen to help improve the fitness and health of our nation’s youth.

The 2010 Tyson Fitness Challenge has been updated with new nutrition information, games, handouts, and additional training materials to provide all the tools you will need to reinforce the message of maintaining a healthy lifestyle. The marketing and media suggestions have been expanded to include social media, and two new bonus training segments have been added. Through this eight-session program, your gym will teach kids how to apply the four fundamentals of fitness – cardiovascular conditioning, strength training, flexibility, and nutrition – to their everyday lives.
