Athletes from Lindenwood University, Texas Women’s University and Brown University each secured national titles on the final day of the 2023 USA Gymnastics Women’s Collegiate National Championships.

After winning the team championship on Friday, two Lindenwood athletes claimed apparatus titles during Saturday’s event finals. Freshman Nya Kraus topped the balance beam standings (9.888) ahead of Yale’s Riley Meeks in second (9.875) and TWU’s Emily Six, Lindenwood’s Madison Rush and Fisk’s Liberty Mora tying for third (9.838).

Fellow Lion Kaylee Cooper posted a 9.875 on uneven bars to secure gold with Taylor Ann Wilson of Centenary College second with a 9.825. TWU’s Brooke Ferrari, Southeast Missouri’s Lindsay Ockler and Lindenwood’s Hannah Appleget tied for third with matching scores of 9.813.

Daisy Woodring of TWU clinched the vault title with a 9.825 ahead of teammate Madeline Gose and Lindenwood’s Gayla Griswold, who tied for second with scores of 9.763. Brown’s Julia Bedell recorded a 9.888 on floor exercise for gold, edging TWU’s Madeline Gose, who placed second with a 9.863. TWU’s Alixandra Pierce and Fisk’s Morgan Price each scored a 9.850 to tie for third.
