The USA Gymnastics Men’s Collegiate National Championships will be hosted at Springfield College March 24-25, where the U.S. Naval Academy looks to win their third consecutive title.

The championships are the culmination of the collegiate season for military academies and four-year Division I, II or III institutions that sponsor gymnastics as a varsity sport and provide two or fewer full scholarships. In addition to the Midshipmen, the field will include Simpson College, the College of William & Mary, the U.S. Air Force Academy, and host Springfield College.

The event kicks off at 1 p.m. ET both days, with Friday to feature team and all-around competition and Saturday to crown apparatus winners. The top eight scorers on each event, with a maximum of two athletes per program competing on each, will move onto individual apparatus finals. Navy’s Syam Buradagunta and Giovanni Gambatese return after taking last year’s floor exercise and horizontal bar titles, respectively. Also returning are reigning all-around champion Garrett Braunton of Air Force and USA Gymnastics Senior Development Team member Isaiah Drake of Navy.

The all-around champion will automatically qualify to the 2023 U.S. Gymnastics Championships August 24-27 in San Jose, California provided he presents a cumulative difficulty score of at least 29.0. Winners of the 2023 Outstanding Senior Athlete Award, Four-Year Senior Awards, Scholar Athlete Awards, and the National Coach and Assistant Coach of the Year awards will also be named at the conclusion of the event.
