DENTON, Texas (March 20, 2023) – The 2023 USA Gymnastics Women’s Collegiate National Championship field has officially been set.

Following the conclusion of the 2023 conference championships, the eight teams vying for the title of USA Gymnastics Collegiate National Champion were announced. The seeding is determined by the team’s overall National Qualifying Score (NQS).

Lindenwood University claimed the top seed at the championships, boasting an overall NQS of 195.275. Host Texas Woman’s University enters the weekend as the reigning National Champions and the two seed. Claiming the third seed is Southeast Missouri State University (SEMO). At No. 4, Air Force Academy enters the championships with a 194.615 NQS. Brown University holds the fifth seed, and West Chester University locked down the sixth seed with a 193.925 NQS. At the seventh seed is Yale University, and Southern Connecticut State University (SCSU) holds the eighth and final seed.

On day one of the championships, Thursday, April 6, Session One will feature Lindenwood, SCSU, Air Force and Brown at 2 p.m.

Lindenwood will start on vault, SCSU starts on the uneven bars, Air Force will begin on the balance beam and Brown will compete on floor in the first rotation.

In Session Two on Thursday, April 6 at 7 p.m., TWU will begin on vault, SEMO starts on the uneven bars, Yale competes on the balance beam in rotation one, and West Chester will start on floor.

The order of events in each session is determined by a blind draw.

The sessions on April 6 will also feature individual qualifiers from USA Gymnastics member schools. Along with the individual scores from the eight teams, individuals will aim to qualify for the individual finals on Saturday, April 8.

Outside of the eight teams, the following individuals qualified to compete for an individual national championship.

Kieran Ross and Lola Sepulveda from University of Bridgeport, Kate Michelini and Sydney Beers from Cornell University, Morgan Price of Fisk University, and Amy Foret of Centenary College will compete in all-around.

On vault, Amy Krueger, Calista Brady, Michaela DeFrancisco, Regina Walton, and Cami Whitaker from Cornell, Jordan Streete and Joanna Chambers from Bridgeport, Aliyah Reed-Hammon from Fisk, and Kendall Huff and Carissa Martinez from Centenary will compete in the individual competition. Leilani Johnson, from Centenary, will be an alternate on the apparatus.

Catherine Aucoin, Olivia Imbarlina and Joanna Chambers from Bridgeport, Sophie Schmitz and Taylor Ann Wilson from Centenary, and Kiara Richmon from Fisk qualified to compete for an individual national championship on bars.

On beam, Hannah Barry, Olivia Imbarlina and Nicole Javinett from Bridgeport will compete. Victoria DeMeo, Alexandra Quinna, Regina Walton and Mikayla Burton will compete individually on beam from Cornell. The final individual beam qualifiers were Liberty Mora from Fisk, and Emma Lavelle and Kennedy Stevens from Centenary. Aliyah Reed-Hammon from Fisk will be an alternate on beam.

Alexis Richardson, Olivia Imbarlina and Abigail Kenney from Bridgeport, Victoria DeMeo, Alexandra Quinna, Caitlyn Walsh and Cami Whitaker from Cornell, Zyia Coleman from Fisk, and Leilani Johnson and Carissa Martinez from Centenary will showcase their talents on the floor exercise. Liberty Mora from Fisk will be an alternate on floor.

The top two teams from Session One and the top two teams from Session Two will advance to the Team Finals on Friday, April 7 at 7 p.m. For the individual competitors, the top five individual scores from each session will advance to the individual finals on Saturday, April 8 at 1 p.m.

Tickets are on sale here. Individual Session Passes can be purchased for $15 for adults and $10 for children or seniors. All-Session Passes can also be purchased for $30 for adults and $20 for children and seniors.
