LOUISVILLE (February 25, 2023) – Going from World Championships alternate to the top of the Winter Cup podium, Lexi Zeiss (Omaha, Neb./Twin City Twisters) posted consistent scores to take home the senior women all-around title Saturday afternoon at Freedom Hall.

The 2022 Pan American all-around silver medalist, Zeiss earned a 13.450 on vault, 13.500 on bars, 13.100 on beam and 13.150 on floor for a cumulative score of 53.200 at Winter Cup. Ashlee Sullivan (Richardson, Texas/WOGA Gymnastics) scored 52.750 to take home the silver medal on the strength of third-place performances on beam (13.200) and floor (13.350). Nola Matthews (Gilroy, Calif./Airborne Gymnastics Center) rounded out the podium with a 52.600.

Apparatus queens crowned

After a top five-finish on balance beam at the 2022 World Championships, Skye Blakely (Frisco, Texas/WOGA Gymnastics) posted the highest score of the afternoon on the apparatus with a 13.400, while her WOGA teammate Kaliya Lincoln (Frisco, Texas) topped the floor exercise standings with a 13.600.

World Champions Centre’s Zoe Miller (Spring, Texas) outscored the field on uneven bars with a 13.900 and Joscelyn Roberson (Spring, Texas) led the way on vault with a combined 13.750 (14.000; 13.500).

Competition from Louisville continues tonight with the Elite Team Cup, which will stream live on the channel from 6-9 p.m. ET.
