PHOENIX, Ariz. (July 26, 2022) – More than 550 trampoline and tumbling athletes descended upon the Phoenix Convention Center July 24-25 for the 2022 Stars & Stripes Championships. Athletes spanned T&T Development Program Levels 5-7 and HUGS Program Levels 1-4. In total, titles were awarded across 92 trampoline, tumbling, and double mini trampoline divisions.

In addition to high-flying competition, fans were wowed by exhibition performances from The World Games tumbling champion Kaden Brown (Herriman, Utah/Wasatch Trampoline & Tumbling) and silver medalist Miah Bruns (Crete, Ill./World Champions Centre), three-time World individual double mini medalist Ruben Padilla (Bluffdale, Utah/Wasatch Trampoline & Tumbling) and World team all-around silver medalist Jessica Stevens (Ellicott City, Md./Fairland Gymnastics). Fellow National Team members Tristan Van Natta (Marysville, Ohio/Integrity Athletics) and Aliaksei Shostak (Youngsville, La./Trampoline and Tumbling Express) were also on hand to cheer on the competitors.

The event kicked off Saturday with a zoo-themed grand march in which athletes, coaches and judges dressed in costume to open this year’s competition.
