WISCONSIN DELLS, Wis. (June 9, 2022) - Regions 4, 1 and 6 rose to the top of the regional competition standings over the weekend, as the 2022 Rhythmic Development Program National Championships swung through the Woodside Wisconsin Dells Center Dome. Over the course of five days, Level 6, 7 and 8 gymnasts battled for national titles across multiple age groups with Level 7 and 8 performances determining regional standings. Group titles were also awarded.

From among each region's athletes, the top-four individual scores on each apparatus at Levels 7 and 8 contributed to team totals. Region 4, which is comprised of Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island and Vermont, set the Level 7 bar by nearly nine points, while runner-up Region 1 (Arizona, California, Nevada, New Mexico and Utah, 213.600) just clipped Region 6 (Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas, 213.200) for the second spot. Region 4 (230.300) once again edged Region 1 (229.550) for the Level 8 title, and Region 6 (219.900) rounded out the top three. Region 4 also added the combined championship, which spanned Levels 7 and 8, with a cumulative 286.350 across the five utilized apparatus. They nosed Region 1 (286.250) to complete the regional title sweep. Region 6 was third with a 275.650.

Group championships were awarded across the beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. Winners are listed below by division.

• Intermediate Child C: Vivian Abramson, Angelina Gelovani, Chloe Klugin, Sophie Reznikov and Nyla Velez, Isadora by Matchpoint, N.Y., 39.150 (floor: 21.750; five hoops: 17.400)
• Advanced: Milana Berger, Elsa Caldie, Ava Emery, Chanel Morrison, Victoria Wyatt and Sophie Zelixon, NorthWest Rhythmic, Minn., 37.100 (floor: 22.250; three balls and two pairs of clubs: 14.850)

Level 6, 7 and 8 individual all-around and event champions were also crowned in 20 age groups. The top-three all-around placements as well as apparatus champions are listed below by division. Level 6 gymnasts performed on floor, rope, hoop and ribbon. Level 7 athletes showed floor, hoop, ball and clubs, and Level 8 participants competed on floor, ball, clubs and ribbon.
