Employment Opportunity - Women's Program Manager

Summary Description
The Women's Program Manager is responsible to provide support for and assist the Women's Program personnel with all activities as directed and assist with the management of the Athlete Development Pipeline activities. This position reports to the Vice President of Women's Program. This position will lead USA Gymnastics efforts in the promotion of a safe, healthy training environment for all participants, and will promote compliance with and enforcement of applicable USA Gymnastics rules, policies, and safe sport provisions in the gymnastics community.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with women's program correspondence as directed.
  • Be knowledgeable in the office policies for smooth continuity of program in absence of Program Personnel.
  • Keep the web site current for Women's committee listings, athlete listing and other essential information.
  • Assist with domestic travel correspondence and tracking for the Women's Program (training camps, etc.).
  • Assist the Vice President as needed at all Program related activities.
  • Inventory National Team Apparel and disseminate as directed.
  • Assist with the Judges' Accreditation Program when needed.
  • Manage the Health Referral Network.
  • Manage FIG Licenses.
  • Coordinate the shipping needs of Women's Program and monitor the timing.
  • Assist with organization of all Women's Program paperwork, maintain event files and monitor reports as directed.
  • Maintain Elite Scores for all competitions in a spreadsheet.
  • Preparation of delegation materials for International assignments.
  • Provide support for other disciplines as needed.
  • Assist with the management of the elite development pipeline.
  • Manage the website to ensure technical accuracy of the Hopes Program, making developmental programs easy to understand.
  • Maintain a record of developmental team members including camps and competitions.
  • In coordination with the Women's VP, assist with the management of the national team coaching staff for the developmental program.
  • Help when needed with the organization of the Level 9 Eastern/Western DP Championships and Development Program Level 10 National Championships.
  • All other duties as assigned by VP of Women's Program.
Qualifications
  • Candidate should have a bachelor degree in sports management, business management or a related field.
  • Minimum of two years of relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with Olympic Sports and/or Gymnastics preferred.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

  • This position is based in Indianapolis, IN
  • Travel, work on evenings and weekends is required
