posted on 02/05/2021

Livermore, California, February 5, 2021 - Today the Acrobatic Gymnastics Foundation (AGF) announced that it has launched its grant program for the 2021 competition season, after cancelling its 2020 program because of the pandemic. Applications will be open until February 25th, 2021. The grant program was established by the AGF to provide financial support to U.S. acrobatic gymnasts. This is the fifth year of the AGF's commitment to the success of acrobatic gymnasts through needs-based financial assistance to help athletes train and compete. Former acrobatic gymnastics World Champion and AGF founder Kristin Allen commented, "Despite the challenges 2020 brought us, we are thrilled to be able to help acro athletes in need this year and support the resilience and hard work our community continues to show." Since 2016, the AGF has awarded $45,000 to athletes ranging from Level 6 through Senior Elite to help fund regular training, competition wear, travel expenses, etc. for athletes in need.
