Summary Description
The Educational Services Manager will oversee the day-to-day administrative operations of educational services and work cooperatively within the organization to implement USA Gymnastics educational objectives. The Educational Services Manager is a member of the USA Gymnastics Member Services Team and reports to the Chief of Member Services.

Duties and Responsibilities
The Educational Services Manager will be responsible for:

  • Manage day-to-day administrative process and maintenance of established educational programming.
  • Develop and implement new educational programming.
  • Manage implementation and distribution of educational webinars.
  • Serve as front-line point of contact for educational member assistance and inquiries.
  • Develop written communication and content for newsletters, social media, website and other marketing materials to help promote educational initiatives.
  • Contribute to content development for gymnastics professionals (all disciplines), parents and athletes.
  • Work with the technology team to ensure functionality of courses, create a process for tracking courses, credits and certifications, and update web content.
  • Collaborate with E-Learning & Media Developer to develop and maintain online courses and educational content.
  • Assist in the planning, execution and marketing of live educational events which includes national and regional congresses.
  • Provide administrative assistance to the Women’s Judging Accreditation and other professional continuing education programs.
  • Serve as a staff liaison for 3rd party vendors and educational partners.

Requirements and Competencies

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong event planning ability
  • Expert knowledge of Outlook
  • Proficient PC skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of DropBox, Slack, Zoom or similar products
  • Technical aptitude for learning new software and troubleshooting
  • Ability to work as part of a team effectively and independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Incorporate safety, accountability, integrity, transparency and listening into daily activities

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
  • At least 2 years of related experience required.
  • Gymnastics experience is strongly preferred.

  • Position is based in Indianapolis, IN.
  • Salary and benefits commensurate with experience.
  • Weekend work and travel is required.
