Greg LaFleur, an exemplary member of the gymnastics community who dedicated much of his life to the sport, passed away on January 10, 2020. In 2011, Greg was given the Lifetime Achievement award by Wisconsin Gymnastics for his lifelong devotion and contributions to gymnastics. Greg generously volunteered many hours to gymnastics within the state of Wisconsin, Region 4, and USA Gymnastics. He served on the State Gymnastics Board, the National Elite Program Committee, and was a clinician at Region 4 Congress. He was also voted Wisconsin Coach of the Year multiple times for both the boys and girls. Greg helped many gymnasts receive college scholarships and win National, and even International titles; including winning gold at the Jr. Pan Am games. Greg LaFleur was a highly respected member of the gymnastics community and inspired countless athletes throughout his career. Our thoughts and prayers are with the LaFleur family and friends during this difficult time.
