For its fourth season, America's Got Talent is planning a massive, nationwide audition tour starting in January 2009. Auditions will be held in more than eight major cities, including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and Washington, D.C., to name a few. The talent search is open to any act of any age. Those interested should go to www.nbc.com/agt to register. For more information, contact Allison Drye at Allisonagt4casting@gmail.com.

In the first season, two-time acrobatic gymnastics world champions Arthur Davis and Shenea Booth performed as Realis and advanced to the finals.

America's Got Talent has a variety format that showcases performers from across the country. Each week, the show features an array of hopeful stars, including singers, dancers, comedians, contortionists, impressionists, jugglers, magicians and ventriloquists. All are vying for a chance to perform on stage in front of the celebrity judges and viewing audience and the chance to win the grand prize of $1 million and a headline show on the Las Vegas strip.
