2020 T&T Calendar Information
posted on 11/07/2019

With the new year fast around the corner and the 2020 calendar being updated recently, this update is to draw attention to a number of events happening in the new year. 2020 is shaping up to be a busy and exciting season!

New quad routine filming
The T&T program is gearing up for the release of new J.O. routines for the 2021-2024 quadrennium. Athletes of all levels are invited to participate in a 3-day shoot of the new routines, and will be among the first in the U.S. to learn and perform them. Athletes will work with members of the Technical and JO Committees, and footage from the weekend will be used in educational videos for judges and coaches over the next 4 years! There is no cost to being a part of the filming.
Elite Development Camp
We look forward to returning to the Fon du Lac Park District’s Tumbling/Cheer Gym Complex for the annual Elite Development camp. Staffed by the National Coaches and other hand-picked clinicians, this is a great opportunity for 11-16 year old Level 10 and Elite athletes to experience a National Team-type training environment, and improve their skills with the help of their personal coaches and clinicians working side-by-side. Registrations close November 30.

Held in the Olympic year instead of World Age Groups, Indo-Pacifics is a wonderful opportunity for athletes to experience the fun and excitement of a large-scale international meet. USA is planning to bring a large delegation to the event, and the opportunity for personal coaches, families and supporters to join the traveling group (similar to WAGC), will be offered.

JumpStart
We are thrilled and excited to see the return of the much-loved Jumpstart program to T&T. Staffed by the National Coaches and other hand-picked clinicians, this is a great opportunity for 9-12 year old J.O. and Elite athletes to experience a National Team-type training environment in a camp setting, and improve their skills with the help of their personal coaches and clinicians working side-by-side. This pilot year is intended to introduce state and region selection and testing processes without requiring additional time or resources. This camp is in the beginning stages of planning, and we expect to have more details by January 2020.
