Drury returns to competition in January 2020
posted on 09/04/2019

Charlotte Drury, in accordance with the World Anti-Doping Agency’s Code, will be eligible to compete in national and international competition as of Jan. 9, 2020. WADA requires a retired athlete to notify the international federation and the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency six months prior to returning to competition. Drury did not notify the International Gymnastics Federation or USADA until after competing at the 2019 USA Gymnastics Championships. WADA denied her exemption request and required nullifying Charlotte’s 2018 and 2019 USA Gymnastics Championships results, which has been done. Drury can return to international competition as of Jan. 9, 2020.
