CORBEIL-ESSONES, France, March 24, 2019 – Evita Griskenas of Orland Park, Ill./North Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics Center, won the gold medal for ball at the Corbeil International Tournament at the Sports Palace in Corbeil-Essones, France. She also collected the silver medal for ribbon and the bronze in clubs. Additionally, the U.S. Team was third in the team competition.

Griskenas won the ball gold medal with her 19.350. Russia’s Eleonora Romanova was the silver medalist (18.600), and France’s Valerie Romenski was the bronze medalist (18.200). In the ribbon final, Griskenas grabbed the silver medal at 17.900, ahead of Brigita Budginas of Lithuania’s 16.000. Belarus’ Aliina Harnasko was first at 18.250. Camilla Feeley of Deerfield, Ill./North Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics Center, was seventh (13.950). Griskenas garnered the clubs bronze at 17.650. Italy’s Talisa Torretti took the title (18.100), and Harnasko was second at 17.800. For hoop, Griskenas landed in seventh (16.550). Julia Evchik of Belarus posted the top score of 19.650. Romanova tallied an 18.600 to edge out Harnasko (18.550) for the silver.

In the junior division, Alexandria Kautzman of Westlake Village, Calif./Burlo Gymnastics, was fifth (15.950) and Naomi Skotnikov of Highland Park, Ill./Vitrychenko Academy Corp., placed seventh (15.300) in the rope final. Italy’s Sofia Raffaeli took first at 17.200. Belarus’ Arina Krasnorutskaia posted a 16.250, just ahead of Italy’s Sara Rocca at 16.200, for second. In the club final, Victoria Kobelev of Palm Coast, Fla./Rhythmic Art, was sixth at 14.250. Raffaeli won the title at 18.950, followed by Israel’s Noga Block (15.950) and Azerbaijan’s Arzu Jalilova (15.700). Krautzman was eighth in the ribbon final (12.300). Italy’s Alessia Leone was first (16.250), with Raffaeli next at 15.600. Jalilova rounded out the top three (15.550). Raffaeli also won the ball crown (19.150).
