Ahsinger, Webster win synchro silver at T&T’s Loule World Cup

LOULE, Portugal, Oct. 6, 2018 – Nicole Ahsinger and Sarah Webster, both of Lafayette, La./Trampoline and Tumbling Express, won the women’s synchronized trampoline silver medal at trampoline and tumbling’s Loule (Portugal) World Cup. Held at Loule Municipal Sports Hall, the two-day competition concluded today, and fans can watch the action on the Olympic Channel, home of Team USA, at 5 p.m. ET.

For women’s synchronized trampoline, Ahsinger’s and Webster’s 46.750 fell just short of Canada’s Rosannagh MacLennan and Sarah Milette’s 46.950, landing them in second place. France’s Lea Labrousse and Marine Jurbert rounded out the top three at 46.550.

In tumbling, Eliza Floisand of Salt Lake City, Utah/Wasatch Trampoline & Tumbling, was edged out of third by Raquel Pinto of Portugal, 67.400 to 67.300. France’s Marie Deloge took the title at 68.000, and Great Britain’s Megan Kealy was second with a 67.900. Caitlyn Crawford of Reston, Va./Capital Gymnastics National Training Center, was seventh, scoring 63.700. Kaden Brown of Herriman, Utah/Wasatch Trampoline & Tumbling, took sixth (70.100) in the men’s tumbling finals. Russia’s Vadim Afanasev won the title at 78.600, with Great Britain’s Elliott Browne in second (76.100) and Kristoff Willerton in third (74.000).
