2007 Rhythmic Junior Olympic National Championships head to Hilliard, Ohio

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind., June 8, 2007AcaaApproximately 140 rhythmic gymnasts are expected to compete at the 2007 Rhythmic Junior Olympic National Championships, June 8-10, at Hilliard Darby High School in Hilliard, Ohio. The event features competition in Levels 6-8 in regional team, all-around and individual events.

The event opens on June 8 at 12:15 p.m. with Level 6 competition. Level 7 competition in the floor exercise and rope begins at 9:45 a.m. on June 9, followed by Level 8 at 2:15 p.m. The 2007 Rhythmic Junior Olympic National Championships conclude on June 10 with Level 7 competition in hoop and clubs at 9:10 a.m., and Level 8 competition in ball and ribbon at 1:30 p.m.

Trophies will be awarded to the top three regional teams. The top eight all-around gymnasts and the top eight individual event winners for each level will receive medals.
