International Sanctioned Events
posted on 02/16/2018

From time to time we receive questions from gyms looking for international club invitationals to attend. In order to assist the T&T community, the USA National Coaching staff has put together a list of competitions that may be appropriate for clubs to attend in 2018. This is not an exhaustive list nor an endorsement of the competitions within – it is purely some options to assist clubs looking to attend an overseas competition. Clubs are wholly responsible for contacting the organizers regarding all aspects of the competition.

April 18-22: Canada Cup (Montréal, Canada)
June 8-10: 7th GymCity Open (Cottbus, Germany)
June 28-30: Coimbra Gym Fest (Coimbra, Portugal)
July 12-14: Scalabis Cup (Santarem, Portugal)
November 3-4: David Ward Hunt Cup (Gillingham, Great Britain)

April 18-22: Canada Cup (Montréal, Canada)

Double-Mini Trampoline
April 18-22: Canada Cup (Montréal, Canada)

Clubs looking for overseas competitions to attend can find FIG Sanctioned International Competitions on the FIG website: > Calendar > Sports Events. Select Trampoline Gymnastics as discipline and 2018 as year.

The International Participation Request form (available here) must be used for any activities that clubs plan to attend in a foreign country. International sporting travel is a privilege, and it is not guaranteed that a request will be granted. Criteria for consideration are as follows:

  • Athletes must have participated in the previous National Championships as a Level 9 or above
  • Athlete must be an Athlete Member accompanied by a Professional Member in good standing
  • Competition must be a club invitational and not an assigned USA Team event per the current calendar
