Men's collegiate conference titles on the line this weekend

INDIANAPOLIS, March 28, 2014 Acaa Men's gymnastics conference titles are up for grabs this weekend in the NCAA, with competition in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF), Big Ten and Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC).

The No. 14-ranked U.S. Naval Academy hosts the ECAC, which begins today at 4 p.m. ET in Annapolis, Md. Navy is joined in the field by No. 12 College of William & Mary; No. 13 Army; No. 16 University of Illinois-Chicago; No. 17 Springfield University; and No. 18 Temple University. Temple is the two-time defending champion.

The Big Ten Championships get underway today with live coverage of the team and all-around competition airing on the Big Ten Network at 7 p.m. ET. Individual finals will air live on the Big Ten Network tomorrow at 5 p.m. ET. The University of Nebraska, currently ranked #11, is the host school, with competition coming from No. 2 Ohio State University; No. 4 University of Michigan; No. 5 University of Minnesota; No. 6 University of Illinois; No. 7 Pennsylvania State University; and No. 8 University of Iowa. Michigan is the defending team champion, while AT&T American Cup and U.S. national champion Sam Mikulak of Corona del Mar, Calif./University of Michigan, seeks a second-straight all-around crown. Fellow U.S. national team member Sean Melton of Orlando/Ohio State University is also in the field.

The top-ranked University of Oklahoma hosts the MPSF Championships, where the Sooners will face No. 3 Stanford, No. 9 University of California - Berkeley and No. 10 U.S. Air Force Academy, in its quest for a third-straight title.
