INDIANAPOLIS, Feb. 5, 2014 – 2013 Tokyo World Cup silver medalist Peyton Ernst of Coppell, Texas/Texas Dreams, has been selected to compete at the 2014 Tokyo (Japan) World Cup. The event, which is the final leg of the 2013-14 International Gymnastics Federation World Cup all-around series, is scheduled for April 5-6, 2014, at the Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium.

At last year's competition, Ernst finished second behind Japan's Asuka Teramoto, who will once again be in the women's field. A participant from Russia will be announced later. Ernst must demonstrate competition readiness prior to departing for Tokyo.

The all-around competition is split over two days: April 5 – women's vault and uneven bars; and April 6 – women's balance beam and floor exercise.
